Actualizamos nuestro Ranking de Discos en Vivo y en esta oportunidad lo extendemos a 110. En las primeras posiciones no hay modificaciones pero se colaron en el Ranking los discos que reseñamos en el último Festival de Discos en Vivo. Entre ellos el de Pearl Jam fue el que logró mejor posicionamiento.

La Vela Puerca continuaría ratificando su buen momento y su consolidación como banda importante en la escena rioplatense con su quinta publicación de estudio, Piel y Hueso (2011).

La particularidad de este nuevo trabajo es su formato doble donde podemos profundizar las dos caras del grupo, bien distintas entre si pero ambos manteniendo su esencia y propia identidad. Aunque por momentos resulta un poco extenso y repetitivo por su duración y la cantidad de temas, esta propuesta de termino significando un avance a la hora de extender el sonido de los uruguayos.

El primer CD cuenta con doce temas donde le meten rock, estribillos veloces y adrenalina, “Sobre la Sien”, “Tentación” y “Polidoro” están entre lo mejorcito de esta versión de La Vela,  y luego un segundo lado con seis canciones tranquilas, acústicas y emotivas, donde se destaca “Solo Un Paredón” una de las canciones más bellas de su repertorio.

En ambas versiones La Vela Puerca se muestra vigente, los kilómetros de ruta y la experiencia recogida le dieron al grupo un sonido pulido y compacto. En los meses posteriores a su publicación no se detendrían prestando su flamante álbum en todo el Uruguay, Argentina y algunos puntos más lejanos como Chile, Perú, México y hasta algunos puntos de Estados Unidos.
